The Droid Army of Chihuahua This photograph of the famed General, Pahcho Villa, gives us a rare glimpse of his elite cavalry, "The Golden Ones" (Los dorados). Apparently, these troops were not quite human... they were, in fact, Trade Federation Battle Droids! Villa earned his nickname, The Centaur of the North (El Centauro del Norte), due to the speed and effectiveness of this elite cavalry. Villa and his troops often commandeered trains with the greatest of ease. Mexican stories tell of the Golden Ones and their seeming invincibleness against human soldiers. The above photo gives us insight into Pancho Villa's rise to power. Battle Droids vs. humans in 1913 would give him quite the advantage! B1 Battle Droids were usually slaved to a central control mainframe located on a remote starship or some other well-defended facility. The location of this facility, possibly in Chihuahua, has yet to be confirmed. Evidence #: ISWWR0000025 Submission by R. Tourmas Below: An illustration of the Trade Federation B1 Battle Droid |
